Drive Reveal of Burj Khalifa

Burj Khalifa a great way to reveal or leave the city. Burj Khalifa can be filmed, as you travel down this road and over the bridge it opens up to the desert.

Fossil Rock Desert & Dunes

This desert has a white sand with a hint of cream. As a desert dunes filming location it offers many options, hills, dips and rises. Any 4×4 will look impressive in a car commercial shot here. It’s too much for SUVs. Base camp can be put at the edge of the main road. 

End Of The Road, Beach

Just a short walk to a secluded beach and spectacular sea views. I have often come here to swim and even in high season it is rare to see another soul. Evoking childhood memories of those lazy days of summer. Take a deep breath and you’re there. This is great as a beach filming location as the water drop off is minutely gradual. There is space for a base camp under 1 minute away. Props department can easily bring a small rowing or fishing boat here by sea or road as in the next but one cove there is a small launching ramp. A camera shooting platform or safety boat can also be launched.

Kobe Bryant Basketball Court

This basketball court was build as a touching tribute to basketball legend Kobe Bryant in the Abu Dhabi park. There is also a skate park next to it. It can get very busy on cool evenings.

Qasr Al Hosn Fort

This historic film location was originally built as a protective watchtower around 1790s. Your imagination is the limits of what could be filmed here. Period drama or a family on holiday caught up with spies. Whats for sure is that the location offers stunning photography options.

Lion Desert

I originally scouted this film location as a stills photography shoot that wanted to film a white lion or tiger with a model. So we needed a desert location that was already fenced in but not visible. It’s red sand colour made it perfect as the lion would stand out more with the contrast over white sand. The dead tree was a bonus.

Lone Tree

Great camping film location, the tree looks great from all angles. The background has romantic rolling dunes. Base camp needs to be set a little way back as the sand is soft.

Wadi Country Road

Road with twisting, undulating red sand desert either side and lined with Acacia trees this film location is for fast or leisurely car shoots. The road snakes toward you, allowing for long lens photography where the car comes in and out of frame.

Elegant 1930s Bar Restaurant

This elegant Italian 1930s restaurant and bar is ideal for filming when you need a touch of class in Abu Dhabi. It is a very film friendly location. You can cast your film extras from their staff as they are all perfectly trained in the art of simple luxury and look great. Their uniforms will take you to an era where you could be forgiven for thinking you were filming on the set of The Great Gatsby, so wardrobe is sorted. From the balcony location you can look over views of a marina with luxury yachts in view.

Designer Penthouse

This stunning Luxury Penthouse in Dubai as a home or film location oozes decadence, style and class. The apartment it is designer throughout, with much of the furniture being custom built. It’s an art directors dream if you want that designer look. Film permits in Dubai are simple once you have an NOC for the building.
