Issam Sam Akel Stunt Actor Performer
Dubai stunt actor performer, highly skilled in cinematic action and screen combat, I bring a strong blend of international training, on-set experience, and creative discipline to every project. My journey into the world of action performance has taken me across major stunt training hubs worldwide, including LA Stunts for Film & TV in Georgia, USA, as well as JAM and XMA in Los Angeles. I have completed specialised firearms training in London and refined my wire-work abilities in Copenhagen, giving me a versatile skill set suited for a wide range of film, television, and commercial productions.
As a dedicated Dubai stunt actor performer, I have collaborated with respected stunt teams, choreographed and filmed multiple fight scenes, and worked alongside some of Hollywood’s leading stunt performers and coordinators. This hands-on experience has shaped my approach to precision, timing, and safety — ensuring every action sequence is not only visually impactful but also executed with the highest professional standards. Beyond my own on-camera work, I have led classes, coached upcoming performers, and shared my knowledge with aspiring stunt enthusiasts who want to build confidence and technical ability in screen action.
My stunt and acting credits span regional and international productions, including Vanguard, Remembrance, Yellow Bus, and Dalma. Cormac Fitzpatrick Production Assistant
As a passionate creative professional, I bring a unique background in theatre to my work as a Production Assistant in Abu Dhabi. Having recently relocated in August 2024, I am eager to apply my skills and experience from live performance to film and photo production, building a strong career within the UAE’s dynamic creative industries.
With a postgraduate degree in Theatre Directing, I have spent the past three years working professionally in Ireland, where I wrote, directed, and produced a range of shows. My credits include Assistant Directing The Elf in the Gulf musical with Dubai-based Collab Company (2023), co-creating and debuting The Climate Kids Musical in Ireland (2024), and contributing to the Dublin run of The Memory of Water in late 2023. These projects reflect not only my artistic vision but also my practical experience managing productions from conception through to delivery.
While my foundation is in theatre, many of my skills translate directly to film and photography. My knowledge of lighting and sound design, set design, and production management allows me to contribute effectively to on-set operations. I have hands-on experience in coordinating teams, managing tight schedules, and ensuring productions run smoothly, qualities essential for any Production Assistant in Abu Dhabi.
